We can honestly say that this apartment was a very pleasant surprise and has exceeded all expectations. Coming to an old city like Cuenca, we didn't exactly know what to expect, but the facilities were top notch. The apartment was well stocked, the bathrooms were renovated and all in all everything was very well maintained and stocked. The pictures on booking definitely don't do this place justice. The center location is also a great plus (2 minutes from Plaza Mayor) and we felt very welcome from the moment we met the host. Will definitely come back in the future

Very beautiful and newly renovated apartment directly in the historic centre. Perfect for a city trip to Cuenca. Everything very clean, good bed, heating and WiFi. Free parking is some hundred meters above the city, but it's a nice walk (10 min) through the old town from the parking to the apartment; for unloading you can park near the apartment some minutes. Very welcoming host. Restaurants and bars around the corner, supermarket and bakery are a bit further away.

In the Old Town district of Cuenca, close to Mangana Tower, La Cueva de Casa Botes features free WiFi and a washing machine. A hot tub is available for guests.

The appartment was beautiful, the patio view was spectacular! The appartment felt like home with all the necessities including a clothes washing machine which was very convenient. The location was by far our favorite. Surounded by such history! Walking the streets of oldtown, the architecture, the wonderful hikes, the ruins, the walk by the river. . . such a wonderful experience for us with our 20 year old daughter. Views of the canyon and the cathedral with its history so breathtaking and right out your door step. The history of the town so intriguing and different from our own. We really felt emersed in the culture. It was sad to leave.

Excellent location, situated in the historic part of Cuenca, walking distance to all the sights of which there are many. Great museums, good quality cafes & restaurants. The views are amazing all round.

This is a very comfortable, super clean and well located apartment in the old town of Cuenca. Eva is a fantastic host and very helpful and responsive. We were 2 couples and I have to say the trundle beds in the second bedroom are probably better suited to children or young people. However this doesn't detract from the high quality of the apartment. The lift was very much appreciated by my parents and the washing machine was very helpful. The kitchen is well appointed and the centre of town is a 5-7 minute walk away. There is a bus stop 2 minutes away. I would recommend this apartment for a base to explore Cuenca.
