I can't speak highly enough of the pension. The photos give some idea of how unique and authentic this place is. Travelling solo, I had a spacious room, a comfortable bed and facilities you'd expect in a 4 or 5 star hotel. And the hosts - You would go a long way to meet more friendly, pleasant, and helpful people such as Margarita and Cristina. Although the room didn't have a shower (external one came with a key to lock for private use), it had a hand basin and towel. A towel/dressing gown and slippers also provided!

The location and the terrace overlooking the river were wonderful. Joan gave some excellent restaurant recommendations and was very helpful in getting us settled in. We really enjoyed our short stay in Girona and in this lovely apartment.

Perfect location, it was so easy to walk everywhere in the old town. The apartment is beautiful, full of character with everything you could need. Waking up to the distant bells and gorgeous bedroom view was very special.

The apartment is in an amazing location. It's extremely clean and Joan provided water, milk and coffee. The beds are extremely comfortable and each room has a ceiling fan. Great communication and apartment was ready for us earlier than our arrival. Will definitely book again! Thanks:)

A beautiful, clean and comfortable apartment with everything you need. The location was perfect, right at the heart of the old city centre, and a great vermouth bar next door.
