The apartment was spacious, comfortable with all amenities and electrical appliances, a really spacious shower and even a foot spa, which was a real bonus as we spent a lot of time out and about sightseeing and walking around the beautiful city of Jerez de la Frontera. The apartment was very centrally located, close to shops, a number of excellent restaurants, close to the old town and a number of key attractions. The landlord could not have been more helpful, he went out of his way to ensure that we had the best holiday possible. He made contact a few days before our visit and gave us very clear directions to the apartment and how to access the keys, he even included a couple of short videos, which were very helpful. He made a number of recommendations for excellent restaurants, where we tasted some of the best food and wine that we have ever experienced. We had to leave early on our last morning and he arranged a taxi for us, which arrived right on time and got us to the train station in a timely fashion. As it was, we had a bit of travel disruption due to bad weather, our train was cancelled, in fact all trains to our destination were cancelled that day. This was quite stressful but we contacted the landlord and he was prepared to let us have another night in the apartment if we needed it. This helped to diffuse what could have been a very stressful situation. As it was, we were able to make alternative transport arrangements but it was a comfort to know that we had a fall back if we needed it. In all this was one of the best travel experiences that we have had and we are seasoned travellers.
