Raoul met us to hand us the keys and settle us into the property. The apartment is beautifully decorated and furnished, with a well-equipped kitchen and bathroom (washing machine available). It was a perfect base for us to explore Helsinki, in a central neighbourhood so we could feel more of the 'real' city. Great public transport connections.

The apartment is very nice - compact but stylish and well-designed, with a well equipped kitchen. Beds - including the sofabed - are comfortable. It is in an agreeable residential neighbourhood just north of the centre of town, with excellent tram and bus links to the centre of town and to the main train and bus stations, as well as to other parts of the city. There are plenty of restaurants, cafes, bakeries etc nearby, and the Hakaniemi market is not far away. Key pick-up is from the local R-kiosk shop, close to the apartment and right by the Harkupuisto tram stop, an easy tram ride from the railway station. Overall this made a convenient and agreeable base for exploring Helsinki on our first visit to the city. We would happily come back here.
