This is the well lived home of the host Alain. It is beautiful! The front door opens onto the square with the Popes palace right in front of you. The house however is a quiet oasis from the crowds set in a Serene garden courtyard. Very quiet. Access to underground parking was easy and less than 50m to the door. The whole place is a treasure trove of art and antiques. This is possibly one of the nicest places we have ever stayed. We will definitely be back.

The apartment was very clean, it had everything needed. The best part is that the bedroom was underground, so it was always cool. We had a very good sleep there with my husband thanks to this. I would really recommend it❤️

Jean Paul provided a wonderful continental breakfast that included the best croissants and bread that he cycled to purchase every morning. The jams were homemade by Jean Paul - delicious! We were given a jar to take away with us, such was our host’s kindness. Jean-Paul suggested three very good restaurants, all within walking distance and recommended wine areas to visit. He was a superb host and contributed much to our enjoyment of Avignon. We loved our stay at Maison Boussingault.
