The owner could not have been more delightful. He was very helpful and welcoming, offering us each something to drink as soon as we arrived, and spent time telling us about Saint Malo and recommended restaurants and things to do. The room was immaculate and clean, and the beds and pillows were incredibly comfortable. The owner's attention to detail was particularly noticeable. Lively breakfast! The hotel is in a great location. I would not hesitate to recommend this wonderful little gem of a hotel and look forward to returning. Tremendous value, too!

Hotel is steeped in history - the oldest building in San Malo, it survived WWII, beautiful architecture, hotel, restaurant and bar. We booked a twin bedded room with a sea view. The views of the fort, beach and sea from our window were breathtaking. Room was a reasonable size as we expected based on our booking. Food in the restaurant was very good and the staff was very pleasant. The front desk receptionists were very helpful with booking taxis and providing advice for outings. The hotel was centrally located next to many restaurants as well as an entrance to the ramparts.
