We really loved this lovely wee apartment! Distillers house has been refurbished with great care and love for details. (The railings in the hallways alone are so beautiful that I would have gladly stayed in the hall. 😄) Our apartment had the most beautiful bathroom and a shared kitchen/sitting room/bedroom with wooden floors and a very impressive corniced ceiling. It was perfect for self-catering, however, there are so many shops and pubs just outside that you’ll easily sth. delicious within a few minutes walk. Haymarket (train station) is just 4 minutes on foot, and alle the major sights of Edinburgh are 20’ on foot away - of if you don’t fancy walking, you can catch the tram 🚃 just outside the door.

Situated in the heart of Edinburgh’s city centre, Malt House Apartments are only 2 minutes’ walk to the west end of Princes Street.

We actually booked another place but it was for the wrong date which is why we had to cancel that one and book another accomodation. We found this hotel by coincedence but wouldn’t want to have it any differently. We had a super comfortable stay even when it was just for one night! Daniel from the reception was super kind, and was able to upgrade us to a 3 person room with 3 beds instead of a double bed with a sleeping sofa. Would 100% stay here again in the future! Thanks for the great service :)

...The location is nice, just one bus away and all the staff are so warm and nice. We booked a room in off-peak season so we've got an incredible price. I can say, we got more than we paid for. They offer good breakfast... and we loved the fact that we were able to leave our luggage earlier before our check in and they also allowed us to leave our luggages even after checking out. Thank you so so much! For travellers like us, it meant a lot!
