This is my second visit to this hotel, and just like the first time, I had a wonderful stay. It's conveniently located near the shopping center, and I was satisfied with all the amenities offered. The staff were friendly and helpful. Since I plan to visit Reading frequently, I intend to make this hotel my go-to choice, as I am very pleased with my experiences here.

This unique residence is a modern reworking of the Great Western Hotel, built in 1844 and reputed to be the oldest surviving railway hotel in the world.

Our room was upgraded to a beautiful and spacious suite. It was very comfortable. We had arrived from overseas so it was nice to have a soak and a nap followed by a delicious dinner. The next morning we enjoyed the amazing breakfast and the staff was accommodating and friendly. They helped us across the street with our bags to the train station—right up to the platform!

Within Forbury Gardens, this luxury 5-star hotel offers a fine dining restaurant and a cocktail bar. Reading Rail Station is a 5-minute walk away.

I loved the coffee in the room soo much. The building had a lot of character. The large windows were so nice. Room was exceptionally comfortable and artsy.

Location is brilliant, with the mall next door and the station just a short walk away. Rooms were very comfy for a long stay and the kitchen had almost new utensils.

I like the room, the bathroom/toilet....all clean. The canteen was lovely with nice food. The staff attended to me nicely. I was initially worried about having to pay an extra £20 for us to check in early. But when I called the hotel and spoke with them, there was an option of free subscription to be a member, which I did, and I was able to check in early.
