I give this property a 10 in every aspect. It's a modern, luxurious apartment, it really makes for a perfect experience in York. It's walking distance from the busiest parts of town, so it's very easy to move around, but the place is so wonderful that you might want to spend more time inside! The bed was really comfy, the bathrooms (2) were very clean, and spacious. There is a TV in the bedroom as well as in the living room. The kitchen has everything you need to cook your meals, and the supermarket is a few blocks away. I would definitely stay here again, and I can't recommend it enough to anyone who wants a truly luxurious experience in York.

very professional and friendly staff. large well equipped modern bedroom we had a major delay while waiting for bar food however the manager apologuzed , the waitress apologized and the hotel rectified the situation superbly. the portering / bellboy system is very present , hands on , active , super efficient and works as a brilliant team idem reception its obvious that such a well run hotel has a very very professional hotel manager at the top

Finally, a typical hotel! The room was very light, spacious, immaculately clean and quiet. There was not only a kettle in the room, but a whole range of teas, snacks and hot chocolate. The view from the window was lovely and the bathroom with bath was exceptional! Breakfast is served in picnic baskets and can be pre-ordered, again typical products and finally not the usual fake hotel breakfast. There is always a corner with hot drinks and snacks. In short, impossible not to feel good!

I liked everything about Hocus Pocus. It was quiet and comfortable and a good size for a family of 4. Loved the location and offered really good informatiom about what to do during our stay with discounts for some places around us. Check in was easy. We loved our stay here, wish we could have stayed longer.
