Excellent hotel in the center of Athens! very clean, very nice decorated and a super amazing view from the rooftop terace! breakfast was very nice and they offer free water and fruits all day! this is really amazing! and very kind staff! The room was maybe a bit cold for me as i traveled in January but you can use the AC, there was also a construction near but this is just temporary.

The staff was beyond exceptional and went out of their way to help us and make us feel welcomed, especially Georgia. The breakfast was excellent with great choices. The location is fabulous, next to the subway in the heart of Monastiraki. The freely accessible rooftop has an unobstructed view of the Acropolis. Most attractions are within a 5-20 minute walk.

It was a lovely stay for our honeymoon. Thank you again for your wishes and the surprise — the card was such a thoughtful detail, and we’ll keep it as a special memory. We also really enjoyed the breakfast; it was delicious, and the chef was very kind and highly skilled. The front desk staff were also very helpful. The location was perfect as well — very close to the center, which made walking everywhere easy. Thank you very much for everything.

Walking distance to monastiraki square, very easy to get to. Room was very spacious and clean, also equipped with everything you need (our room even had a little kitchen with cooker). Our reservation did not include any meal however hotel offers a free breakfast and it was delicious with numbers of food to choose. Above else, hotel has the friendliest staff i have ever seen. They were ready help whenever we needed and were always smiling (it was realy uplifting). One person in our group got sick the night before our check out and they let us check out a little late without any charge. I highly recommend Gaia, next time i visit Athens i know where to stay. Thank you so much :)

Super smart hotel - light and bright, modern but cosy, really comfortable and the staff were incredible. Nothing was too much trouble - they were really helpful and realy friendly. Great choice of breakfast, cooked to order and delicious. Really good value for money given how well located the hotel is. Comfortable bed, well equipped room with blackout curtains, powerful hot shower.

Excellent hostel, the best one I stayed at during my
entire Europe trip! The cleanest facilities I have seen at any hostel; and the space is simply beautiful and respectful of all kinds of travellers. The hostel is right in the heart of the city and so convenient to get to everything from this spot. Also - super safe for single female travellers even late at night, as the streets are always full of life wayy past midnight (even on weekdays!).
The entire team running the hostel is amazing and tireless in their efforts to ensure everyone is looked after and has a good time. No wonder it is difficult to easily find available bookings here, seems a lot of us have had the same positive experience. I am definitely visiting again. Thanks Thomas, Spira, Stephanie and the rest of the team :)
