I booked East Residences for a night for me and my partner's anniversary. I called in advanced and the staff were kind enough to inform me that they can provide us with complimentary wine, but did let us know that they are more of a residential accomodation and not a hotel, meaning they were slightly more limited as to what they can provide. At first my room had a couple of (unprecedented issues) like late check in, TV not working, and the residences not having ice to delivery to our room which you have to purchase from a nearby supermarket. My partner and I were hoping to make cocktails together and watch Netflix together. I was a bit concerned about our experience, but the staff were so incredibly kind with their willingness to address my issues, which I think is the most important of all. They immediately called me to arrange a room upgrade for our special night, and went out of their way to provide us with ice and even a complimentary souflet despite not being all that equiped as a residential building. Even though I didn't expect it, I still appreciated how genuine and caring all staff were to make our anniversary extra special. For this reason I can't recommend East Residences enough! We had the most magical night. Special thanks to Wilfred, Matthew, and Celia!

We checked into our room facing the harbour in the evening and was greeted with a gorgeous sunset view 🌇 The hotel is conveniently located near bus stop and MTR station for exploring the city and the seafood market at the former fishing village Ap Lei Chau. After the 2nd day we started to take the bus to Times Square at Causeway Bay (4 bus stops) and Pottinger Street and Hong Kong MTR station at Central area (leas than 30 mins) instead of the MTR that requires a slightly longer walk to the MTR station and a change at Admiralty station. The staff from front desk to housekeeping we met during our stay were all very attentive and polite.
