It was very clean and comfortable. Since we had to leave very early after running errands, we were able to prepare our own breakfast in the small but very convenient kitchen.

Chesscom Hotel is located between the city centre and Budapest Airport, just 80 metres away from the main blue-line metro station, and offers free parking on site. Breakfast is available.

Only stayed one night as my flight was postponed and I didn’t want to spend the night at the airport. It is about 20 minutes with 200E bus from the airport, right across the street from Kőbánya-Kispest metro station. I stayed in the small single room, it was tiny room in the guesthouse, but it had enough space for one person and included all the necessary facilities, including an AC that was turned on at a comfortable temperature for my arrival, a TV, a mini fridge and a kettle. It also was perfectly clean, cleaner than some rooms I’ve had in top hotels. I will make sure I return for a longer stay when in Budapest.

I was looking specifically for a place close to public transport hub,and airport bus. No need to use an expensive taxi. 5 minutes walk to the bus. KOKI terminal has loads of food places,shops,cafes. There is also a Tesco and an OBI Diy superstore. I did not use the facilities but the apartment is well equipped,TV,Kettle,microwave,fridge freezer,dishwasher,an older washing machine,hoover,towels.

We had a lovely room with a view of the airport. The bed was super comfortable, there was a big tv with lots of channels, which was great as we both were feeling unwell. Good shower too. The airport is a stroll away. Downstairs there is a restaurant where we had a fresh tasting asian style tofu soup. Just what the dokter ordered.

I had a fantastic stay! The room was very comfortable and well-maintained, providing a relaxing atmosphere. Breakfast was great with plenty of delicious options to start the day. The location was perfect for exploring the city center, with a short walk to the M3 metro line, making it easy to get around. The parking, though charged at 22€ per day, was conveniently located in the hotel’s garage, which was a big plus. They even allowed a slightly earlier check-in, which was very helpful. Overall, I had an amazing experience and would absolutely stay here again when I return to Budapest. Highly recommended! 10/10!
