We really enjoyed our stay at Riss Hotel. The rooms are lovely and big with everything you need. Staff are very sweet but not a lot of English is spoken. There is a huge variety of food for breakfast. It's within easy walking distance of the Tugu Train station.

From the moment we walked into the hotel it looked and felt like 4 star.
The superior king rooms are large, very comfortable with excellent soft lighting and a large shower. Breakfast was excellent with a large choice of both savory and sweet items. As expected dealing with Indonasian people the staff are both courteous, helpful and professional that did everything possible to make you feel welcome. By far the best about this hotel is the amazing value for money. We had two superior king rooms for two nights and paid €210 total. Highly recommend this hotel if your staying in Yogyakarta.

- staff are friendly and polite, always smiling and regards you all the time.
- breakfast was awesome, a lot of option, from traditional to modern food. Their Jamu is the best
- room is clean and very comfortable, with a good amenity, including free mini bar (soft drink and snacks). The hotel also provide mineral water by dispenser on the hallway.
- Location is unbeatable, just one block away from famous Malioboro street (it's not exactly in front of Malioboro st), you need to walk around 5-10 minutes, it's not too crowded but very accessible to Malioboro crowd. We spent every night around Malioboro trying different place/foods.

The guesthouse is clean and 15minutes walking from Malioboro street. The owner was super nice and kind, he came pick us up at the train station, (even if it was late night) and also brought us back on the day of departure. He gave us suggestions of food and places to go, we felt really welcome! I would recommend this place to everyone!

We had a positive experience staying here. The room wasn’t very spacious but it was clean and well maintained. Breakfast was served in the cafe and was varied and available until 10am although they do serve drinks and food until 10pm. We recommend you try their kopi susu as it is honestly the best and we still think about it to this day. The location is central and ideal for exploring the centre as well as Malioboro Street and other attractions.

The room and bedroom was very comfortable. All the staffs was very helpful and polite. We really enjoyed the facilities in this hotel, in the swimming pool area there is a bar with live music, which is a very good place to stay to have some drinks and relax.
