Staying in Daspan House was like royals being pampered. The moment we stepped into this historical house built in 1921, we were greeted and treated with generous kindness and love. Nothing to fault in this house but only praise. From the warm service to the tasteful decor. We truly enjoyed our 2 nights stay here in a quiet gem, away from the businesses and noise, relaxed in a pool or garden. The location is accessible by tuk tuk or cab to the attractions. Thank you Anuj and his team for the generous hospitality. They surprised us with a treat when we celebrated our wedding anniversary at the restaurant. The food was the best by far in our month long travel in India. I highly recommend this house if you are in Jodhpur to have a memorable experience.

Interesting decor of the hotel, a bit gloomy but in the spirit of the fort and old town. Great location, close to the fort and other interesting places. We did not have breakfast at the hotel as only vegetarian menu was offered. Lots of cafes and restaurants nearby, no problems with food. The view from the terrace on the fort is great!

Beautiful gardens which are well-kept. The staff were very professional. The room was comfortable and with the little heater it was warm (Jodphur was cold in the evening). It is an easy taxi ride to the centre, Uber works in Jodphur. The hotel is in a quiet area which made our stay relaxing, so nice to get away from car horns and traffic in this wonderful property. We ate dinner in their restaurant which was very good and reasonable prices, breakfast is also very good. I would always recommend anyone coming to Jodphur to stay here.

A fantasticly well preserved, stunning, spotless and blissfully peaceful period residence and gardens. A real haven from the relative chaos of an Indian city. The most beautiful swimming pool and surroundings that you'd be hard- pressed to better. Delicious breakfast varying in selection daily with the option of eating it in the lovely garden The warmest welcome and the most attentive and polite staff. By far the best hotel we stayed in in our entire 3 week tour of Rajasthan. All in all perfect.

I am so surprised at some of these reviews as my experience could not have been better! First of all, that was the comfiest bed I ever slept in. I'm not a good sleeper and I rested so well here. I felt some welcomed that I booked an extra night. Heena and her family took such good care of me. She helped me book a desert safari, recommended an amazing jeweller's so that I could buy some gifts for my family, and she then checked the prices to ensure I had been treated fairly. She also helped me organise alternative transport after my flight was cancelled last minute. As a solo female traveller, Heena took great care of me, which makes such a difference. The food was also great, the views are stunning and overall, it was just a really fantastic stay in Jodhpur. Take a tuktuk to get there or walk from the clock tower.
