Staying with Firdoz in his house boat was one of the best experiences I've had traveling, and not only in India. Every night we sat on the porch of the boat, hanging out and talking about life. Firdoz arranged a boat to take us through the Dal Lake for an entire day, which we spent fishing, swimming, and sightseeing. Every night I was presented an amazing dinner; Firdoz and his wife worked hard to cook something new for me every night. I was treated like family, and like an honored guest.
Besides the house boat, Srinagar is an amazing place. There's a lot of interesting history, unique architecture, and some of the friendliest people I've ever encountered. The monuments of the old city and Mughal gardens are constantly set in relief against a background of huge, green mountains.
I really had an unforgettable experience in Srinagar and the biggest part of that was staying here. Thank you Firdoz - can't wait to come back again in the future!

property is very well maintained and cozy. It was neat and clean.
They provided us extra pair of blankets to keep us warm and the owner was always available to help us if anything else was needed.
A veg meal for 2 was 800/- which we felt was little expensive but it was very good.
it is little interior from the highway but the driver managed to get there with the help of owner’s instruction.
