We were welcomed perfectly from the first minute by Daniel, at reception, who gave us a wonderful upgrade. Our room had a wonderful view of the Duomo of Firenze. We will always remember our stay at Hotel La Gemma.

The hotel is in a prime location, it is in the heart of the old city. You can feel history. Staff was very helpful.

Everything, if in Florence I would definitely stay there again. So near to everything we needed, we had a lovely room, comfortable bed, and the staff were very helpful and friendly.

Hotel Balestri faces the Arno River in Florence city centre. Ponte Vecchio and the Uffizi Gallery are 400 metres away. It features a roof terrace with lovely city views.

The staff was great. We left something in the room after we checked out and when we called the front desk confirmed that housekeeping turned it over.

This former Augustine convent of the 13th century is set beside the Uffizi Gallery, facing Florence's Ponte Vecchio. The roof garden with bar offers views of the Cathedral.

I highly recommend this place to anyone going to Florence, not only is this centrally located, the facility is clean,modern and breakfast was delicious. I also would like to commend on how accommodating and helpful they were to me during my stay, I really appreciate them going out of their way to find a dentist for me when I needed one. Very nice appartment in the centre centre of Florence. Good airco and balcony.
