Staying at the Aragonese Castle was an unforgettable experience – one that words can hardly capture. I have loved this place ever since I first stepped inside, and on my sixth visit I finally had the chance to stay overnight. Experiencing the castle after dark was truly magical. From our balcony, we enjoyed breathtaking views over Ischia Porto, and our room was both beautiful and wonderfully comfortable.
Another highlight was access to the private gardens, normally closed to the public but open to overnight guests. They are absolutely enchanting, and wandering through them felt like discovering a hidden treasure. Breakfast was also outstanding – fresh, high-quality ingredients and flavors that left us speechless.
This place has completely captured our hearts. In fact, during our stay here we even got engaged, making it all the more special. From the bottom of our hearts, thank you for the unforgettable memories – we cannot wait to return.

This hotel was so relaxing and luxurious. The staff went above and beyond to help us with anything we needed. The pools and the beach were gorgeous and the breakfast and dinner were both excellent. There was such a lovely atmosphere in the hotel and we will definitely be back 😊

Carlos the host was absolutely wonderful and extremely helpful. He picked us up from the port and gave great recommendations regarding car rental and restaurants. The view from the property was astounding and the breakfast was delicious. The room was clean and very comfortable.

We stayed in a superior apartment with a kitchen. The apartment was located on the 2nd floor and had a large furnished balcony. It was very nice! We had breakfast for just 5 EUR per person, per day. Overall, the stay was decent value for money, for sure! Great location, it felt really secluded and "local", unlike the other part of the island that we visited too. The place around the hotel is very green, and it's not too far from the beach. I think it took us only about 20 min, which was always a nice walk. Keep in mind that the hotel is located on a hill, but it's not very steep. Also, the swimming pool was still working at the end of September, and the views on that level are superb!

everything was AMAZING. Ferdinando is beyond human. he cooks the most amazing food for lunch & dinner. it was best food we’ve had on the entire trip! I’ve also never had someone in Europe pay as diligent attention to my allergies as Ferdinando. don’t skip on the rabbit. it was the best rabbit we had on the island & tried other places. since the property is slightly out of town, Ferdinando and his father Miguele shutteled us in and out of the city center as needed. this service was fantastic and necessary since it’s a 17 - 20 min walk completely uphill otherwise.
Ferdinando was constantly available, and answered all of our questions within minutes. even the servers we had at breakfast lunch and dinner (specifically Julio) were wonderful & made you feel right at home.
the views from the hotel are magnificent!!! you can see the castle and whole city from U campagnuolo.
we left today giving heartfelt hugs to Ferdinando, Miguele and Julio upon leaving & wished we stayed there longer.

I’m going to Ischia very often and this have been the best time ever, the hospitality there was over our expectations, the staff was really nice and professional the two girl behind the desk where always helping even before we arrived, food was really good we loved the breakfast, aperitif and lunch on the sea terrace.
The location is amazing, by the side of Ischia port and in the main centre of the island, We really appreciate the private beach because which was very roomy and quiet and we didn’t waist time looking where to go and we could enjoy some drinks and tapas on sunbed,
Everything was really clean and organised, cleaning room twice per day, always clean towel.
Price wise under our expectations food and drinks very cheap even compared with the island
Has been a pleasure be guest is this hotel and we really enjoyed our stay.
To be 3 star is better then 4star where I went is the past.
Planning to go back next month
