The location of the property was perfect. It is a beautiful villa with amazing view at their lovely terrace. And we parked in front of the Porta Romana gate. It’s not so difficult and the parking fee was around 18euros. This family run hotel is fully equipped and complete. They were so friendy and communicated very well. We were so grateful for the owner's thoughtfulness. I would definitely come back here again!

The apartment is very clean and specious. It's located just outside the tourist area but you do need to walk approx 7 mins to reach the tourist area. The walk is quite steep...
There is free parking on the streets but you do need to look for them. We were very happy with the unit and actually stayed for another night. The host is very responsive and it was easy to get the keys to access the unit.

This place is not for everyone. There is no elevator and you will not have the amenities of a typical hotel. My husband and I were in Italy for two weeks and we stayed in many hotels in 5 cities. This was my favorite by far, and we stayed an extra night. The decor feels like you are stepping in late 18th or early 19th century. Our room had a frescoed ceiling and there was an adjacent communal sitting room for coffee and tea. It was comfortable, not posh and close to everything. It was authentic and Italian and we were the only Americans there at the time. I hope to stay there again.
