We stayed at Giardino Del Sol for 6 nights. We were met by Gulia who looked after us and checked we were ok for the whole week (she lives in the house nextdoor so is close if you need anything). The accomodation was outstanding ... bathroom with a really nice overhead shower, air conditioning, table and chairs for food/drinks in the evening. it has a fold out bed but this was comfortable and sturdy. The kitchen has everything that you need. We sat out in the garden (which is entirely yours for your stay) with a swing chair/table and benches and lighting. Hardly overlooked anf shady during the hot days too. The property is down a back street so literally 2 minutes walk from shops/restaurants (10 minutes to the bigger supermarket) but hardly any noise as it is so tucked away. We would definitely book to stay again.

Fantastic location in Taormina, easy walking distance from Porta Catania. Beautiful and spacious with a lovely outdoor area to have breakfast. Our host was very helpful and responsive both prior to arriving and during our stay. Breakfast is a simple fare, but perfect for us but may not suit others expecting a full American breakfast. We recommend exploring restaurants, lots available off the main streets to your right as you walk away from the cathedral towards Porta Messina (opposite end) and also steps down towards the public gardens which are a must see with spectacular views, sculptures, buildings and get away from the crowds.
