Zen Kyoto Hotel and Apartment made our winter here super comfortable. The room is thoughtfully designed with everything you need for both short and longer stays. The kitchen is well equipped. Heating works well. There's a washing machine - there's no dryer but the bathroom has a dehumidifying clothes drying setting that dries your clothes in a few hours. Better than a dryer as it doesn't shrink your sweaters! The staff is lovely. The building is a short easy walk to the train station. Great value for money. We'd definitely stay again.

The place itself is amazing.
The accommodation has so many unique beautiful and traditional details, it has everything you might need during your stay and even more, to create an unique experience while staying in Kyoto.
Location was also very good, with different places to eat around and 7 mins walk from one of the most amazing point of interest in Kyoto, Fushimi Inari Shrine.
The communication with the Staff was very easy and very quick to answer and request, questions and more we had.

Well appointed place and comfortable for our family.
Stairs are steep so be mindful if you are staying with elderly parents (as we were).

The self checkin style of this hotel is seamless. Simple instructions to follow. Even the washing machine instructions has its own manual in english. We can get ourselves checkin quickly because we don’t have to deal with anyone but ourselves. The room is spacious. They separate the toilet and shower room. The toilet seat is heated. The toilet slippers are the high quality type, it’s not like the ordinary hotel room slippers.

This airbnb is located incredibly close to Fushimi Inari station, it was just 1 minute walk away! Perfect location to get around Kyoto as well. The house was beautifully decorated, as I personally love the wooden aesthetic. There's a nice tea ceremony room where 5-6 people can gather and hang out, which I really liked. The entire place was clean, including the bathrooms and toilets. Very lovely home which I would definitely book again if I go to Kyoto.

This 250 year old house is amazing architecturally. It is very clean, comfortable traditional Japanese and spotlessly clean. The host is very friendly and provides delicious breakfasts in the bar also located on the property. The bar is only for the guests and is historically the old post office. We loved our stay.

We had an amazing time with our two dear old daughter in this beautiful house. Everything was clean and well organised, the beds are very comfortable. The neighbourhood is charming and gives you a bit of fresh air escaping the busyness of the city. It is lovely to walk along the canal, and also easy to reach by train.
Chiho welcomed us and gave us great tips, she was helpful during all the stay.
I highly recommend this place, we could not be happier.
