Location is unbeatable, walkable near Gion, near bus stops. The rooms are huge and clean, its modern and new. Breakfast too is delicious. The sauna and tub in our room is a plus! Enjoyed the big tv, and the AI bedside device. Free Amenities are best perks too

Location, staff, beds, size of rooms, bathroom. All great quality and easily accessible. We really enjoyed our stay here, it was so easy to get to everything Kyoto has to offer. Sitting in our tiny Tokyo hotel room wishing we’d stayed at the Rinn Gion Shirakawa longer!

The staff is super friendly, the space is quiet and very clean. The futons were very comfortable and there was plenty of space to open your suitcase etc. We chose Japanese style breakfast for each morning of our stay and it was splendid! Beautiful and delicious! Location is great too, we were lucky to spot a maiko/geisha walking in the street. Yoshiima also invited us to take part in a traditional tea ceremony (for a small fee). That too was a nice addition to our stay!
