Very nice experience. Located in Gion, surrounded by wooden traditional houses, temples and sightseeings within the walking distance. The atmosphere of hotel was very stilish and calming, even the music in lobby. Excellent breakfast. spacious room, beautyful design. Spa centre with beautyful calming view.

This historic building is absolutely beautiful, with an incredible attention to detail that genuinely made us feel like royalty. The atmosphere was wonderfully relaxed and clean.
The staff were absolutely outstanding, elevating the entire stay, especially our attendant, Yuma, who was professional, excellent, and truly made the experience memorable. The onsen was super relaxing, and the food was absolutely incredible—we highly recommend having dinner here. A perfect stay!

EVERYTHING, the lobby, the restaurant which served 10/10 breakfast and kept that standard with their lunch and dinner offerings. The bakery on the lobby is also a lovely feature. The coffee corner also served some of the most aromatic coffee I've ever had. The Japanese really take pride in everything they do. There's also a phenomenal Rooftop bar to sit have some small plates and a cocktail. We will be back 100000%

This is the BEST location with restaurants after restaurants just opposite the hotel, behind the hotel, at the side of the hotels. Shopping centre like Takashimaya and Daimaru is just a few minutes away. It is so convenient....if your priority is eat eat eat and shop shop shop. Even though, many of the temples are also within walking distance. Room is spacious and comfortable and clean. Coffee downstairs and the other shop downstairs is superb. The grass lawn is awesome.
