Hotel is about 15 minutes walk from Kyoto Station, very well located and easy to go anywhere. I asked for a room with window facing the back, and it was sunny and quiet. Perhaps it was the last days of December so the whole hotel was not very busy and my room was cleaned every day even without my asking. Front desk could speak English very well and very well-mannered. There is a great bakery across the street in the alley that sells divine pastry that you should really try. A family mart is just round the corner. ANyway a lovely stay and will come back again.

The great hotel with an excellent location!
Pretty close to all the main attractions all around Kyoto. You could easily get to Gion and Higashiyama District on foot.
Decent breakfast options including Japanese and Western ones.
Helpful and friendly staff!

The hotel, the staff and the location were all 10/10
We booked it at a great price point and were super happy with the choice. The hotel is located in a wonderful area with a lot of shops, not so far away from the most crowded locations.
The room was very spacious, comfortable and came with a washing machine. It was cleaned daily and we really enjoyed.
We didn't try the breakkie, so I cannot comment on that. Would repeat stay and recommend it.

The hotel has contemporary and luxurious interior with a great spacious rooms. Located brief walk of 2min from the subway. The staff was great since we had some problems with luggage delivery, the front desk was quick and efficient letting us know what happened and when will luggage arrive. I’m grateful for that.
Since we had one day delayed luggage delivery with one of our suitcase, the Hotel’s laudromat (laundry room) came quite in handy - there are two running washing and drying machines for additonal fees up to 500 yen per use.
The hotel also have a private separated pool for men and women and meditaton room; there was also an option for meditaton in your room with instructions and relaxing music delivered from your tv.
My absolute favorite part was the bath and shower option in the bathroom. The hotel also provides you a bathing salt in your bathroom vanity.

We loved everything about our stay. Even if the Japanese style room was small for 4 adults + hand luggage, we made it work and felt comfortable - the beds can be folded up in the morning to create more space, as in the picture.
The staff also kindly showed us how to open the bedroom window, as it got quite warm in the room. The breakfast options were great, as was the free sake by the bar! Honestly it was a great stay & great value for money.
