Convenient, clean, minimalist yet stylish. Staff were extremely friendly and can speak fluent English, effective for communication. The place was big enough for 6 of us, even sufficient for us to have meals together.

The room was amazing, with lovely lighting and a layout that made you feel at home. Hardware in bathroom and bedroom was top notch, as were services like WiFi, room cleaning, and reception.
Location is nice, 5 minutes walk to a very central metro station through which you can easily get to many attractions (and the central station for transport beyond).

The onsen (hot spring bath) is definitely a great advantage of the hotel. The rooms are clean, spacious, and comfortable — more than satisfying in terms of overall convenience. Housekeeping is consistent and attentive to cleanliness. The front desk staff were very kind and helpful; they gave us a warm welcome on the first day and assisted us with our luggage transfer.
Small but thoughtful details are well taken care of — such as providing a charging cable, razor, and other essentials in the room, which really enhance the comfort level.
There is also a beautifully designed small Zen garden in the hotel lobby, which adds a calm and elegant atmosphere as soon as you enter the building.
The location is also excellent. There is a FamilyMart just 1 minute away, and a 7-Eleven store only 2 minutes away on foot. The nearest subway station is about a 5-minute walk.
I highly recommend this hotel to anyone looking for a clean, comfortable, and conveniently located stay in Kyoto.

The hotel location is great, in a nice street and walking distance from some temples and sightseeing area!! Hotel is clean, good design, nice shower in the room and the soap and shampoo smelled very good! Welcoming staff and there is a café adjacent to the entrance as well as a nice shared kitchen / lounge space. They could keep our bags before check in and after check out, which was very helpful :)
