The room was big, super comfy and quietly beautiful. The lighting is experience done and the area the Ryokan is located in is quiet. It is perfect to relax and recover from sightseeing during the day
The bedding on traditional tatami provided ample room.
Service was very good and there staff were forthcoming.
The bathing facilities are beautiful and as they are open to the public, I was able to follow the example on how to use facilities correctly.
The restaurant on premise also has beautiful tatami flooring and heated floors. We only took breakfast once, but it was very delicious and filling.
Overall an exceptional experience that exceed the expectations in every way.

Location next to the station was ideal to take the train for day trips. Just 2 minutes walk away. The hotel is beautiful and has a nice atmotherphere fusing modern and traditional design. The room was really nice. You can choose between a wester and japanese breakfast daily. Although we had many japanase breakfasts on our trip this one was the most impressive and delicious. Everything was so refined and delicate! The breakfast room for the japanese restaurant was also very impressive.

Everything :) All staff were so friendly, informative and professional. Very fluent in English too which we really appreciate.
I had a nice experience at the spa. Clean and spacious room. We love the mini bar set up too. The gym and other hotel facilities are fabulous. We will definitely come back. Thank you for making our stay very memorable and enjoyable.

This is the best hotel I stayed so far in Kyoto. My wife, my mum and I had some bad experience with another hotel during the time of booking, but we were so glad we managed to get a room in this hotel. The decoration of the hotel was tastily done, when you walked in, you were greeted with a man-made stream and some Zen garden. The hotel is really very clean, check in was easy via a self service machine. The counter staff is also very friendly to help us settle in. At the lobby, you can take all the daily necessities, toiletries, drip coffee, tea, facial mask etc, as much as you need. The brand of the cosmetic is POLA, which is one of the good brand in Japan. The room was really clean and the bed was very comfortable. Temperature in the room can be adjusted and the aircon was so quiet. We felt so rested in this hotel and it will surely be my 1st choice should I visit Kyoto again. Thank you for such a great experience.
