My stay at Hotel Musse Kyoto Shijo Kawaramachi Meitetsu was fantastic. The room exceeded expectations – spacious enough for two big luggage with a well-thought-out distribution of space. Despite its central location, the rooms were surprisingly quiet, providing a peaceful retreat. The added convenience of washing machines and driers was a pleasant surprise, and the location couldn't be better for exploring Kyoto. Highly recommended!

This is literally a bed in a 5 star hotel which the common area is shared with others ! Upon the arrival , the staff were very helpful and friendly , they welcome you as their friend and lady who checked me in , was speaking native english ! The check in process was quick and easy , also amenity kits was more than enough and provided based on your requirements. The floor for all gender pods were super clean and somehow was also very quiet despite of being fully booked , you couldn’t hear others so i guess somehow the material of the rooms were soundproof . The bed was extremely comfortable and i could get a 12 hours of decent sleep without being bothered - and i’m a very light sleeper - so you can imagine how quiet and comfortable it was . The lounge and coworking area is simply fantastic , you can easily meet people if you want or just work and mind your own business with a great view and free tea / coffee , they also offer free ice cold beer an hour a day which is awesome , the staff on 8th floor have any everything you need such as plug adapters , chargers , earplugs … and they also give you hints about the city in fluent english . Showers are 5 star hotel showers with 3 different outlets , amazing pressure and perfectly clean , toilets were enough in each floor and you never have to wait for showers nor the toilets , as mentioned the staff are all friendly but here even the cleaning staff were super friendly and polite . Location is perfect and you are in a walking distance from all the attractions , bars and clubs and restaurants . At the end i want to thank all the great staff specially Satsuki for managing this place perfectly fine .
