Fabulous clean modern hotel overlooking the castle and gardens by the river, and it's cheap! The room had all needs, kettle fridge etc. microwave and ice by the elevator. Very close to the gardens, castle and museums. Free parking. All round a great place to stay in Okayama which is a interesting town.

Rooms are very spacious, location is (relatively) quiet. The hotel is one train station away from the centre of the town. The ride takes 5 minutes and it's 3 minutes walk from Kitanagase station to the hotel. The interaction of the hotel staff with guests is minimal. You don't need to pass through the reception, you get a chip which enables you to enter through the side door 24/7. There is a lounge on the third floor where you can get tea, coffee, extra towels (should you need them), some dishes ... There is even a privite washing machine in every room.

The facilities were exceptional with a nice LARGE bath, plenty of room and a fully equipped kitchen. Owner was very caring and filled the fridge with delicious local food, including the legendary Okayama Pione grape. Will come again next time we need to stay at Okayama!
