The reviews didn't lie. It was really a great experience to stay in traditional Japanese guest house. My fiancee was also lucky to be able to try on a traditional wedding dress as the lady got known we were on our pre-honeymoon. Althogh I was a bit sceptical about the location, my worries went away as there like 3 metro lines nearby and a lot of food options of course. Just take into account that bathrooms are shared in such guest house and you really sleep on tatami/futon. Go for it.
We also enjoyed a traditional Japanese kaiseki breakfast which myself enjoyed a lot.

Room was very spacious and comfortable for our family of 6. It was easy to walk to the public transport and the Pokémon Center. The kitchen area was well equipped and we appreciated being able go prepare light meals and snacks. The staff were incredibly polite and helpful and even provided a guide for vegetarian/vegan restaurants nearby.

Spacious and nicely decorated room with a cosy sitting are where we could chill after a long day walking around Tokyo. Location was great as well. Very close to the old fish market and also in walking distance to buses and metro. We liked the feel of the area as it was not quite as busy and crowded as other places in Tokyo. The hotel staff was extremely friendly and helped us with restaurant recommendations, odering taxis etc. This was our first hotel on our Japan vacation and it really set the bar high for the others that followed.
