Well placed, roughly five minutes from the main Ikebukuro station and within walking distance of Sunshine City. It’s on the Yamanote line too, so easy to get to major travel locations like Shibuya, Harajuku, etc.
The rooms are clean and comfortable, my group was three people and we had a good amount of space and were very comfortable. There’s cooking and entertainment facilities in the room, which was nice when we were tired and just wanted to relax in the evening. Of note — hotel rooms in Tokyo are notorious for being quite small and cramped, but the rooms at Mimaru are huge by comparison.
The staff were friendly and helpful as well.

Obviously the location. It's really next to Komagome Station, at JR Yamanote Line, two stations away from skyliner to Narita. The fact that my room was located in Ladies only section with bigger size compare to the standard in Tokyo, showed how thoughtful the staff was when we upgraded our room. The staffs tried their best to accommodate our needs even with limited their English, which is the only drawback of staying here but it's understandable since majority of their guests are still japanese. The price that we paid were included breakfast at Denny's which was still affordable compared to other hotels.

Amazing host, very convenient location (near a subway station and relatively quick to get to central Tokyo), very nice neighbourhood - quiet, loads of amenities, close to ATM, 7-11 and restaurants. We really enjoyed our stay here and chatting with Sachiko-san every morning (she always made us coffee (it's free), gave us lots of recommendations of things to do) and made us feel super welcome. The lounge area was very cozy and always smelled like freshly baked cookies! We will definitely stay here in our next trip to Tokyo!

Great location with a 7/11 downstairs to easily refill our transit cards and walking distance to Sugamo station on the Yamote line. Able to reach Shibuya, Shinjuku, Akihabara, and Ueno with a single train.
The apartment itself is extremely new and clean and efficiently laid out prioritizing the living area to comfortably sleep 4 people.
If I ever moved to Japan I could see myself living in an apartment just like this one.

The people that work there are very helpful and polite the room is brand new with a beautiful modern-japanense interior and super clean. For the price they are asking i feel like there is really nothing better out there.
