Firstly, the owner cannot do enough to make your stay successful. She was very attentive and helpful. As a solo traveller, I felt really well looked after, and I particularly appreciated knowing I had someone to call on in case of difficulty. (Not that there are difficulties to encounter in Colombo. It's a lovely city). The room was super comfortable, excellent bed and shower, and the mini fridge was a godsend. The hotel is far enough away from the centre to be calm and quiet but close enough to get to everything interesting with an easy rickshaw ride.
