Good location, close to the Galle Fort. Very friendly Italian owners, best coffee (moka and capuccino) we had during our trip! Clean rooms, good breakfast!

The staff was very friendly and attentive. We got recommendations on what to do in the area and where to eat. We talked to the staff, including the hotel manager every day. The breakfast (especially the Sri Lankan breakfast) was delicious and we enjoyed the exceptional view by the pool.

Great stay in this hotel with exquisite service. Thank you to the entire team! You made our stay extremely pleasant and positive. There was very good energy from the team and the place overall. The interior and exterior are great - cozy and authentic. It's like you are living in the jungle. The breakfasts were always tasty. We didn’t need to buy any fruit ourselves because there was always plenty on the plate, with a different fresh juice every day. The pool is beautiful and refreshing. Our room was cleaned every time we asked. The only thing I would suggest improving is the drinking water. Considering the price of the stay, I assumed it was included, but we later received a bill for it. It would be better if drinking water was included or if there was a price list in the room detailing all paid options. Overall it was a wonderful experience. Best wishes.

Very nice small hotell with only 4 roms. The staff was excellent and helpful in all ways. Breakfast marvelous and the little pool perfect.

Lara's place is nestled amongst lush green surroundings on a small hill, and is the perfect place to unwind after a fun filled day. In fact, it's also the most serene place to get up in the morning to the chirping of birds and a beautiful view of the ocean! The day begins with the simply fabulous 'Big Breakfast' which is served lovingly at the terrace dining! Guests are welcome to use the Open Kitchen at all times; and we did full justice to that every night.....sipping Sri Lankan arrack while enjoying the ocean breeze! The room was neat & clean; with an additional set of beach towels provided. The poster bed was "ah, so inviting" and lulls you quickly into a deep sleep.....😆. Lara, his family and his staff are ever so helpful with whatever you need; whether it is a tuk-tuk, a cab for an airport drop, specific shopping needs, eating out tips, and even cooking tips. Thank you Lara, for such a comfortable and wholesome experience!

The room is very spacious and clean and the hosts are incredibly kind and helpful:) they let us park our tuktuk in front of their small shop in the building. And we got a little snack on our way out :) the location is also good, you can go to the fort on foot (around 15-20 minutes). I would reccommend:)
