I stayed here for 2 nights. Same building as 'Arinas' downstairs where I stayed for some 10 days. Excellent apartment. Newly renovated, spacious, clean, hot water, comfy bed, quiet, and in a central, local area just 5-10 min. walk from the medina. I loved everything here!

The hosts are amazing , even by the high Moroccan standards ). I could check in early without any problems, I was greeted with lovely smiles. The owners speak good English. The flat is cosy, intimate, perfectly clean and spacious, in perfect location not far from Medina. And the bedroom is so lovely ! Highly recommended.

The riad dar Awil was the second at during my trip and it did set up expectations for the others. The service from the personal is excellent. They are polite, professional and made sure I have a quick check in and a comfortable stay. Rooms were super clean, the hotel seems to be new, the design was super cozy. Breakfast was great. Thank you to everyone at Riad Dar Awil for making my stay so memorable. I could gladly return and recommend this riad to anyone visiting Essaouira.

we had the LA TOUR flat at the last floor overlooking the ocean and it was amazing. you can se the ocean from almost every rooms and you have an amazing 360 degree rooftop (on top of the balcony in the flat). the service is great and breakfast nice.

the staff was very friendly and helpful, with all type of recommendations. Breakfast also tasty. The rooms were good, maybe a bit noisy but that's been our experience with every hotel we've stayed at, so I guess it's how they made buildings. Nothing to complain.
