Riad Green House is located in the medina of Fes, the historic walled part of the city that has small narrow alleyways that are way too narrow for cars. I have a small portable hand cart for our luggage. So far, Fes has the smoothest pavement for the hand cart (some alleys in the other medinas have cobblestones). Pulling the cart through the Fes medina was a breeze. We were welcomed with Moroccan mint tea. Our room was a suite on the second floor of the riad. The suite consists of two bed rooms and a balcony with a view of the inner courtyard of the riad. The riad and our room were stunning! The decoration is absolutely beautiful! The staff was simply great. The brothers welcomed us very well doing everything to make us feel at comfortable. Even got out of their way to get us souvenirs after the souks were already closed. The room was super comfortable with all the accommodations, the terrace had a great view. We had diner there and the tajine with kefta was the best meal I’ve ever had in Morocco. The morocon salad and the breakfast were great.
