We were met from the taxi with balloons (we’d recently married) and accompanied to the Riad where we were welcomed with typical Moroccan tea and biscuits which was a lovely touch. Location was great, up a quiet lane in the Medina and within walking distance of the train station and the seaside. Breakfast was fantastic, lots of fresh fruit and yogurt, squeezed juice, varied offerings of breads pancakes and croissants. Staff were very pleasant and most helpful and we thoroughly enjoyed our stay. Would highly recommend 😊

Dar Yanis is just a 5-minute walk from Rabat’s medina and the beach. It offers a shared lounge with a flat-screen TV and a library, as well as free mint tea and Moroccan pastries upon arrival.

We stayed only one night at this Riad and enjoyed everything it had to offer. Check-in was smooth, the room was clean and spacious, the Riad is very well maintained. Breakfast is modest but good, similar to any other Riad we have been to. Dinner was also very good, the Tajine is a bit small but was delicious. We definitely recommend staying in this Riad during your visit to Rabat.

Location is within medina and closer to the souks and you can easily take taxis to other places. Room was good and the person there even packed us a breakfast as we had to leave early next day morning.

It's a clean and nice place in a very good location. The staff is fantastic. I made a mistake with the booking, I booked for less persons accidentally, but they gave our rooms and did not ask for extra money. Hamza is very kind and helpful. He also offered a tuk-tuk ride for a good price and a restaurant which we enjoyed so much

Mr. Said was a very gracious host. He was in touch with us on whatsapp before we arrived and contacted us about the status of our missing luggage after we had left. We felt truly taken care of. The Dar only has 3 rooms, and we occupied all 3, so it felt like we had a whole house to ourselves. The rooms were beautifully furnished with good attention to details. We had a very good sleep. The rooms were very clean and the breakfast was very good. We had dinner there as well. Best of all was the location, right across the street from the Kasbah of the Oudayas. Rabat is one of the cities in Morocco we would like to come back to and spend more time in. And very definitely we would stay at Dar Mounia again.
