It's one of the best hotels I've ever stayed at. It's in an excellent location that is close to everything. We stayed in a suite with a beautiful terrace.
The hotel is beautifully decorated and the rooms are very comfortable.
I especially enjoyed the salt water pool first thing in the morning.
The fresh baked pasties are AMAZING!!

We loved this hotel. It's a beautiful building with great interior design. It's a bit like a maze so it's easy to get a little lost, but we didn't mind because it was so lovely to walk around in. On one floor there is a giant tree that grows in the hotel, and out through the roof. So cool! And we loved brining a drink up to the rooftop terrace which had lovely views.
Our room was also great. Comfortable beds and it was large. We upgraded to a suite so it had two separate bedrooms and a sitting room, which was lovely.
Since the town is small you can walk everywhere and the hotel had was situated perfectly for that. Everything was close.
I highly recommend this hotel and would stay again should I return to Guanajuato.

The staff were exceptional with a special thanks to Richard, Alex and Anna who went above and beyond to make us feel at home. They were very knowledgeable about Guanajuato and were very very ready to suggest local points of interest, restaurants and generally make our stay so enjoyable.
The hotel was very elegantly and comfortably furnished and the location was right on the main square. Once inside, the hotel was a quiet and peaceful haven from the bustling outdoors of the Guanajuato square.

I booked last moment . I'm glad I did . If you like quirky and a bit off the wall then this is for you. If you are disabled or struggling with steps etc this might not be for you. Otherwise I cant rate this place enough . If you appreciate the wild and wonderful and cheeky you will feel at home . I loved it . I didt stay for breakfast as it was all last moment and I had to rush. But the staff where delightful . The only thing I need to day is . If you are a late sleeper you might not like the alarm call in the week days called the school close by . Otherwise you'll adore this place

Beautiful old building in the heart of the city. Really felt like you were stepping back in time. High ceilings, spacious rooms with shutter board windows looking out over the winding streets. You leave the hotel and you’re right in the action.
Morning breakfast was light and basic but perfect. Coffee, yoghurt, pastries. We looked forward to coming down and having a relaxing start to the day.
The staff couldn’t be more helpful. Answered all our questions on WhatsApp. I also left my headphones on check out. They got in contact straight away so we could go collect!
