The rooms were recently renovated. They were clean and tidy. Bathrooms were excellent. Location is just opposite the rose garden and overlooks the port and sea. Staff were friendly. The restaurant was also good. Overall a good value for money.

The place was very neat and tidy, and housekeeping did an excellent job every day. I really enjoyed all the small touches, like having milk in the fridge for use, and great soaps and shampoos. The staff were very friendly and accommodating. Location wise, it was quiet and nice to be close to the gardens.

The staff - friendly and helpful. The view from our room of the Auckland waterfront was jaw-dropping. The sommelier in the bar was really helpful in making sure we got a wine that was exactly to our tastes. We were happy to find it was a short stroll to the Australian Maritime museum.
