Nice and big Hostel. 5minutes walk from the main square. Restaurants and shops nearby. I stayed in 6ppl female dorm. Asked for a bottom bed and got it. They have a bar upstaris but I didn't attend to any acctivities there because of my jetlag and so I didn't meet anyone there.
The room was clean and comfy, with private bathroom.
I had breakfast included - there was a choice of 3 dishes, I had omlette with a bum and fruits. Very tasty.
You can have a cocoa tea all day long for free.

This place was just excellent! Wish we stayed for longer. Had the best courtyard in the city, which was perfect for reading a book with a morning coffee! Best vibes, great staff and also coolest part of the town! If you want to be close to all the quarky shops, bars and restaurants- this is the place! Would recommend!

Our room faced the inner corridor. Therefore, it was quiet. We were very comfortable at the hotel. Breakfast, in particular, was the best of our South American tour. A big thank you to the chef again.

Honestly the best hotel I have ever stayed in! All of the staff in the hotel were incredible, some of the nicest politest most helpful people I’ve had the pleasure of meeting. The courtyard area is beautiful, as is the rest of the hotel, the food and breakfast in particular is amazing and the rooms were gorgeous with lovely touches such as a town down service with a hot water bottle and chocolate each night!

The views are incredible for starters and the comfort of the place is great. Everything is highlighted by the friendly and always there to help staff (literally 24/7). I booked some tours via them and everything was done properly and timely.

Absolutely fantastic experience at Casa Matara!
I really can't say enough about how wonderful Casa Matara is.
The decor is gorgeous. The rooms are well equipped with extremely comfortable beds and high quality linens.
It's in the perfect location for exploring the entire city. As a solo female traveler I felt perfectly safe at all times.
And last but certainly not least, the staff is absolutely wonderful, warm, caring and eager to help with anything at all. I was sick one of the days I stayed and they even checked on me.
I will absolutely stay here again and recommend it to anyone I know travelling to Cusco.
