Stayed here at very short notice after completing the 4 day Inca Trail.
Couldn't ask for more! Comfy bedroom with large bathroom with bath and shower. Complimentary cocktails included. Just what we needed after 3 nights in a tent!!

Breakfast is great. Everyone is so nice and helpful. Although the bedding is different every day, they remember to remake bed every day. The spa ladies are super recommended. A great highlight after 24 hour flight.

Absolutely fantastic experience at Casa Matara!
I really can't say enough about how wonderful Casa Matara is.
The decor is gorgeous. The rooms are well equipped with extremely comfortable beds and high quality linens.
It's in the perfect location for exploring the entire city. As a solo female traveler I felt perfectly safe at all times.
And last but certainly not least, the staff is absolutely wonderful, warm, caring and eager to help with anything at all. I was sick one of the days I stayed and they even checked on me.
I will absolutely stay here again and recommend it to anyone I know travelling to Cusco.

The best hostel in Peru from my experience. I stayed here for 5 days. It's walking distance to the plaza de armas, like 2 mins only as it's close. The breakfast is good even it's all the same everyday. I like how they have 24/7, water refill, hot water with tea or coca leaf. I love the setting of the room. And my bed is big and comfy. They always clean as the main door is unlocked. The design in the dining area is really nice. Overall is 10/10
