This hostel exceeded my expectations. I stayed in a 4-bed dorm with very spacious beds, each with its own plug. The room also had two bathrooms and four large lockers, which made for a much more comfortable experience. The staff was excellent, and the location in Barranco, one of Lima's top neighbourhoods, was perfect.

This is not called a Family hostel for nothing. After just 3 nights here we felt like family. Arriving late at night the place didn’t seem very special, just another place to rest our heads. But the family that run the place soon made it feel special. They were so warm and welcoming, and the whole setup of the place makes it feel like you’re staying as a guest in their home as they’re always around to help, or just to chat. And their 3 cats are there to keep you company too. The hostel is very well located between Barranco and Miraflores, with both in easy walking distance. There are lots of bars and restaurants nearby. The hostel is kept very clean and secure. With nice shared areas in the rooftop terrace and breakfast area. We had a double room with en-suite which was compact but functional. The bed was comfy and there was no noise. A bit more space would perhaps have been nice. We had so many good tips from our hosts about places to see, where to eat, and even where to get a good service laundry. These were a real help. If we ever come back to Barranco (and I really hope we will) this will be our first stop.

Perfect location in beautiful Barranco. It's close to everything, but very quiet. You can see the see from the windows. The bed is cozy, the shower hot. Almost no traffic noise. The kitchen is well equipped and there is a good washing machine. Also we liked the secure area with secure parking for the car.
