The Hotel is located close to the river and the Wawel castle. It is on the edge of the city center and all things tourists typically want to visit can be easily reached by foot. A parking garage is nearby, but the public parking space in front of the hotel can be used (to be paid hourly, but possible to book for about 60 PLN for the whole day!). Our room was very clean, the breakfast was fantastic, the sauna is small but absolutely sufficient and the roof top restaurant / bar has a really great view on the city (river, castle, etc.). The staff was generally friendly (restaurant, cleaning staff), the people on the reception desk were overwhelmingly friendly and helpful. We were three people (parents and 17 year old daughter) and Hotel Kossak managed to offer all items for 3 people (bathrobes, slippers, etc.) - many hotels fail here. Very close to the hotel are several supermarkets and restaurants and a streetfood stand. In the same block there is a department store with a big supermarket. This department store is a must-see for people who want to visit a department store with the charm of the 1970ies (strange, because this wonderful old city gives a very “young” impression). Our stay in Hotel Kossak from check-in to check-out was a great experience. Thanks – I really recommend this hotel.

Where should I start?
First at all the hotel is located near the marketplace (Rynek Glowny). In around 5 minutes you'll arrive there. So the location was perfect.
The staff is so friendly, helpful and professional. When we needed something they helped us immediately and everytime they were so kind.
What should I say about the hotel room? To be honest, it was the best room we ever slept in. It was so clean and comfortable. And the whole room was controllable with a mobile phone which was very easy to handle because the staff at the reception explained everything detailed. The beds were comfortable. And if you need a harder or softer mattress you can contact the reception and they arrange your wish.
In the morning you go down into the restaurant, which is also very good for lunch, and take your breakfast. The breakfast is very comprehensive and also you can order some fresh made egg, omelett, sausages etc. Very delicious!
When you've been out all the day you can relax in the hotel own rooftop pool. It's a large jacuzzi and you can control the light or the jets by your own. It is really impressive because you're sitting in a hot jacuzzi and you have a view over the whole city.
It was awesome in every ways!!

Perfect location, excellent choice of food for breakfast, maybe was missing some cake or dessert, but not important. Room was very comfortable and had best bed and pillow! Sound insulation was perfect :)
