You enter into the hotel and will forget that you are in a hotel. The stuff from the check-in to that in the breakfast restaurant take their time to make sure that you are heard. There was no issue with the language as everyone was speaking perfect English. The night shift staff at the check-in time Mr. Anmar, Omer and Faysal were the best. Amin Rahman at the breakfast restaurant was doing excellent Job. The variety of food for the breakfast is simply the best.
We really liked the room and the pillows were too good to forget the tiredness you get from performing Umrah and simply fell asleep. There is a dedicated mosque for male and female with direct sound from the Haram.

Location was nothing short of excellent, being located in the clock tower. Clock tower lift from P11 to P4 brings you straight to the supermarket and food stalls. We could easily buy takeaway food and eat in our room without having to fight for a table with the crowd. Mövenpick’s own lifts also did not disappoint, plenty of lifts to service the many residents to reach breakfast level and lobby. Waiting times were acceptable. There’s also a nice and large sitting lounge at lobby (P11). Prayer room in clock tower (P9 and P10) was excellent and accessible by escalator from P11. There are also some shops (selling mostly clothes) at P11.
Breakfast spread exceeded expectations in variety and quality. Staff were friendly and helpful in clearing plates promptly and serving coffee/tea.
Room service was superb. New towels and water every day. Room was spacious and even the electric kettle was good quality. Quality of toiletries was also good. A plastic fold-away stool in shower area for the elderly/infirm was a nice touch. Shower area had a glass door which left the dry areas dry during shower. Tv was large and felt new. Azan and live audio feed from the haram during prayer time, which you can control the volume of and switch off if needed. Beds and bedding were fantastic and high quality.
Service was good, the staff checked in twice during our 5-night stay, to see whether everything was ok, and whether we needed anything.

The restaurant was very organized, a lot of choices, very big hall can have more than 1k persons, rooms very comfortable, the cleaner stuff doing their job with high scale.
