Staying this house was one of the highlights of our stay in Sweden. It is in an extremely great location in the centre of the Old Town. You have to be prepared that there is lots of hustle and bustle outside at all hours, we were comfortable with it. The design is wonderfully evocative and relaxing.

A genuine charming hotel with an exceptional staff that does everything to make your stay perfect. The breakfast is amazing. Tea and coffee is served in the lobby during the day. The location is perfect for exploring the old town and many other sightseeing spots, and only a short walk to reach the centre of Stockholm. Lots of restaurants and cafés to choose from. A very good choice for a stay when visiting Stockholm.

It was so clean, warm and quiet. Staff was kind and luckily there was elevator as well. Close to the bus station. Metro also 10min far. Easy to access any touristic place by walk.

Most hostels are good but as a Virgo I pay attention to the small details and Castanea never let me down. They obviously see their hostel with their guest eyes. Love the showers. Very quiet part of Stockholm. Amazing price as-well, thank you.

A lovely little hotel that follows the sea ship theme. The interior designer surely had some fun. The single room is small, but cleverly furnished, and so is the bathroom. The bed first looked narrow, but it actually wasn't. The location is the best in town, in the middle of a vibrant pedestrian street. The world famous Stampen (Pawnshop) jazz/blues bar is a few corners away. The staff was nice, friendly and smiling.

This charming hotel is housed in a listed 15th-century building, right next to the Royal Palace in Stockholm’s Old Town. Gamla Stan Metro Station is 400 metres away.
