Location a bit outside of the old city center of Chiang Mai approx. 20 min. walking distance in an authentic local neighbourhood with a market nearby. The staff was super nice and helpful with any reuqest we had, and the breakfast was also very good with a varied selection. Overall great value for money.

The room was huge, and we even had a balcony! There was an air conditioner, a fan, and an air purifier in the room, which made our stay comfortable—even during the hottest month of the year. The garbage was taken out daily, and we had no issues with cleanliness. We really appreciated that we received extra towels, not just one big one per person.
There’s a small night market just two minutes from the apartment—we recommend trying the banana chocolate roti there! There’s also a 7-Eleven nearby, along with many amazing cafés and restaurants. We used a laundry service that was also very close to the apartment.
Although we rented a scooter to get around Chiang Mai, the Old City is only a 20-minute walk away.
A huge plus: the family who owns the apartment complex is incredibly kind. Dr. A, we hope to see you again soon!:)

I love Tangmo House. The Owners are extremely lovely people, the atmosphere is really chill, easy to meet cool and nice people. The location for me is just perfect, close enough to walk to the center and not so closed so you could enjoy wondering around the neighborhood and the market just for locals. I stayed 3 weeks in Tangmo House in the end, it felt like my second home in Thailand.

Nice family hotel. The staff is very friendly and eager to help. Located in nice neighborhood close to plenty of restaurants in walking distance. Hotelroom equipped with Airco, and small kitchen if you want to heat up your own dish. Breakfast serves about 10 different breakfast formulas, something for everybody's taste.
