Beautiful, quiet and very special resort in an old 100 year old house. Staff was friendly and owner very involved in making his guests feel at home. Loved eating breakfast every morning with the view of the river. Highly recommend, would return to visit again!

Location is awesome Chang Phueak is the best place to stay in Chiang mai A reception lady could speak in mandarin, wow! All staff are friendly and helpful. Hair dryer, towels are available, even a fridge! Twin beds are so comfy, we overslept haha! Balcony view of the street is awesome! Flexible check in time at night around 10pm. Security and less tourists. Local foods and communities around.

This place is located just outside the walled city, which is why this was the only place available when every other place was fully booked due to Loy Krathong. The building is enormous, and the rooms are also very spacious, with plenty of walking space available and large balconies with views of the hills around Chiang Mai.
