Perfect location, about 10 mins walk to Ximen MRT Station and maybe 15 mins to Taipei Main Station (Where you can get the Taoyuan Airport MRT). The hotel main entrance in at the right side of the building, this is only a lobby, you take the lift up to the 6th floor for Reception. I booked for a high floor and got the 28th floor with a great view at the river side. The room was very good, modern, separate toilet and reasonable sized. They supplied pajamas and slippers in the room and all the essential toiletries can be got on the 6th floor in reception in a well layout display cabinet. There is a laundry room also on the 6th floor where you can do your own washing and drying (X3 washing machines and X3 dryers) they take coins only. The breakfast was fabulous with both continental and Taiwan cuisine. They supply free bottles of water and Tea/Coffee at the end of reception up till 10pm. There was also a kittle in the room with a safe. Ximen is a great area for eating, drinks and shopping, very lively at night time.

I was in mayer inn hotel in Taipei main station for a week and just waste my money and time there.

I loved the accessibility of the hotel, it’s right by the train station. It was also easily accessible to night markets & nearby eateries.
The family room that we had was perfect with the kids too as we could shut the door from the seating area and beds, which allowed the kids to sleep while parents continued to eat.

I loved the concept of the dorm and the bed layout. The hostel's cleanliness is worth mentioning. Lockers are provided for free, and the towel rental is nominal. The front desk staff was friendly and efficient. The location is unbeatable and a major highlight. The washrooms are ample and well-maintained. I like how close to the train station the hotel is.
The hotel provides unlimited coffee, some snacks, and winter lemon tea!!!
They are also very sustainable, you don't get your water bottles anymore, instead they provide you a pitcher and refill - which I personally like and I get to be hydrated always.
They do have a washing machine with a coin payment.
The hotel room was super clean! The staff were very nice.
