Twinstar hotel is a very cheap hotel which is very near Taichung railway station about 5 minutes away. Staff are very polite, courteous & helpful. Only one thing needs to improve for the toilet shower to have a plastic shield reaching to the ground level (presently the plastic shield is 1 feet above ground level, thus the water splash out making the whole toilet very wet when taking shower). Also should install a small concrete partition on the ground between the shower area & the toilet basin, toilet bowel area. I will definitely coming back to stay in Twinstar when I am travelling back to Taichung & will strongly recommend to all my friends.

The room was really clean and enough space for two. Everything worked well including the AC, TV, lights, small fridge. It was also really good that the toilet had a bidet and the provided all basic amenities. Close to Taichung station, around 5~10min walk, and with convenient store and milk tea shops really closeby. It was quiet during the night too and the receptionist were very kind and responsive. I would visit here again!

Everything was great. I'm sad I couldn't stay longer. The room and bathroom were massive and very clean. The hotel is near Zhongxiao Road Night Market — I was impressed with this marke, it's a must-visit!

Booked the classsic Quadruple Room (9th Floor) and Double Room with Garden View and Balcony (6th Floor). Travelling as a family of 6 persons. Very convenient due to its proximity to Taichung MRT Station. Fast wifi connection and strong water pressure with hot/cold settings. Offers plated Breakfast. Have to choose food and drinks the night before in exchange for a food voucher to be claimed at the next door restaurant.
