best hotel experience we had in Taiwan. stylish design in hotel and rooms. loved the terrace on 3rd floor. nice kitchen dining room and breakfast room on ground floor becomes an Italian restaurant later in the day. the mix of hotel and hostel works really well.

This is my second time staying at this hostel and was the reason that I came to Tainan for. The hostel is exceptional compared to all other ones I have stayed in. There are books all over the building, incorporated with traditional Taiwanese style building. Two stays, four years apart, still my favourite hostel.

The staff is very friendly and we can feel she really loves her job and takes good care of the place. The room is comfortable, spacious and clean. The location is near the train station (700m). Overall, we highly recommend The Wind Guesthouse.
