Lovely hotel and always our go-to when visiting New York - cosy, friendly and low-key. The staff can’t do enough to help you. Sadly, someone was smoking in the room next door to us and they moved us to a different floor immediately with no back and forth! So happy to have this place to come and rest in while in New York.

Stayed at The Jane for 4 nights at the end of April. Travelled solo as a young woman in her 20s and had absolutely no issues. I was worried after seeing some not so good reviews about the construction, but there was zero disturbance. I wouldn't have even known of it if I hadn't seen the occasional guy wearing a hard hat. The hotel felt safe and was in a lovely quiet neighbourhood in the West Village, super charming and walkable! The shared bathroom was always clean, guests were cordial and my little room on the 4th floor was well organized and functional. I had everything I needed for a long weekend of exploring the city. I can safely recommend The Jane for other female travellers. I will stay here again in the future!

This hotel is so beautiful (and not overpriced). The staff is really friendly and helpful. The room was spacious (according to NYC standards) and very clean. House keeping did an amazing job and we loved their small gestures. The gym was really clean and had everything we needed. Just minutes from the hotel you can find the 9/11 museum, the Charging Bull, the World Trade Center... We loved our stay here and we will return!
