Located very close to a subway station, walking distance to a couple of groceries & a further walk to good coffee shops. Place was very clean, quiet and spacious for NYC standards. We didn't make complaints to the owner (see dislikes below) but the questions we had were promptly answered.

This was a wonderful spot ! In the morning I got up and made coffee. We walked to local shops like Target, Trader Joes , etc. The subwY was close, We Parked out car on the street . It was super clean and hassle free. I loved that they paid attention to detail like setting up the breakfast nook and putting g shampoo and toothpaste in the bathroom.

The location was fantastic, less than a 5 minute walk from 125th Subway Station on Malcom X/Lenox which was very easy to navigate, and also very close to Whole Foods, CVS and many other nearby stores. The host was very accommodating and friendly, didn't have a single issue while I was there. The room was very clean and well-equipped, had a fridge, microwave, paper plates, a coffee maker, coffee, cups, cutlery, etc., with AC and a bathroom with a toilet and a sink. The system to get in/out was also very easy to get a grasp of, which was very convenient. The bed and pillows were very comfortable and the whole neighborhood was pretty quiet at night, which was very helpful for a light sleeper like me. Overall, when (not if!) I go back to NYC, I would love to stay in this accommodation again, I will never forget my stay at the Harlem Cascades!

Nice quiet, safe neighborhood. Nicely refurbished apartment. Washer/dryer in the unit. Lots of bedrooms to accommodate larger groups. Good AC and heating, Full kitchen. Shower was good..Location was pretty close to two subways, grocery store and bodegas. Jude was very attentive to helping us out with locks and wifi.

The location being next door to the Apollo Theater was a real treat.Entering the 5th floor check in,I felt transported to a modern Harlem Renaissance period.The atmosphere was warm, stylized, classy, uplifting and party-esque. What a way to start the trip. Also,the front desk staff was wonderful in having the room decorated for my moms bday prior to check in. Easy access to subway and lots of nearby shopping (Trader Joes,Whole Foods, Target, CVS, MAC cosmetics, etc).

Very comfortable peaceful and helpful when I need it

Ideally located just 1 block from Central Park, The Central Park North offers free WiFi access. Columbia University is 1 mi away. All rooms have access to a shared bathroom.
