The room was absolutely stunning. Huge by New York standards. The most comfortable super king bed, softest sheets, fluffy pillows that I had to look and see the make of to get some at home! Our room had a balcony and was right by the Hotel Chelsea sign.
The hotel staff were so kind and generous. We got an upgraded room and a bottle of wine to celebrate our anniversary.
Breakfast the next day was gorgeous - tons of smoked salmon on Herby cream cheese and sourdough. Eaten in a lovely setting too.
We just couldn't believe how lovely and characterful everything was and it was such a privilege to stay in a hotel with so much history. This is not a normal hotel, it's exceptional and unique.

We loved everything about the hotel, from its central location to the attentive, friendly and helpful staff. The Room was beautiful, the bed and pillows comfotable. They offered complimentary water which was good, especially with the heat wave in New York when we were there. The location of the hotel is excellent to explore NY.
